Since the fall of 2016 our Intervention Specialist has provided mental health support to the 500-700 individuals who access Siloam’s services on a daily basis. This service is provided to those experiencing poverty and homelessness in order to strengthen the foundation for change and transition.
The Intervention Specialist provides the following services:
Mental health contributes significantly to individual health and wellness and from there the ability to access opportunities for education and economic self-sufficiency.
